Canon 5D mkIII Lens and Resolution Test
01
May
Testing different lenses on the Canon 5D mkIII. No color correction or grading was performed. First sequence has no post sharpening, second sequence has post sharpening at 60%. I wanted to over exaggerate the sharpening to see how much noise would be added to the footage.
Keep in mind, it’s a simple and UN-scientific test, just seeing what these lenses I own would be capable of.
Lenses used:
Canon 24-105mm f/4.0 L Series
Canon 50mm f/1.4 FD
Nikkor AF 18-35mm f/3.5-4.5D ED (FX) (TYPO in Video)
SIGMA NIKON 70-300mm F4-5.6 (Cheapy Lens)
This test has some pretty good lenses and not so pretty good lenses, that was the point to test which lens would stand it’s ground
